Since 1979, Hugh L. has suffered from what for him has been "a real nuisance". Hugh was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN), a condition where nerves in his face and jaw would "fire" randomly, causing him periodic discomfort and sometimes extreme pain.
